- I have recently been playing with MsDos Connections for WFWG. This roughly
- equates to the dos connectivity provided at the command line once wfwg has been
- exited.
-
- This s/w allows our 286 dos boxes to access printers and file services shared
- by wfwg pcs. It does this well and i'm fairly pleased with it.
-
- My problem is this: We also have a necessity to run a vt100 telnet session
- simultaneously. We have been using NCSA TELNET with a packet driver but the
- packet driver won't co-exist with the NDIS driver. I got wfwtcp to install,
- and can ping active wfwg servers, but i can't find a telnet which will
- use this interface. (nor can i run betbios over the tcpip in this configuration
- for some reason)
-
- Any help or pointers in the right direction would be GREATLY appreciated.
- Nothing is too obvious to mention :)
-
- Thanks in advance
-
- Mike Guest.
-
- P.s. Sorry to mention this here, it's not quite the right group, but i can't
- locate a better one.

- As low as 3, as high as 1100. Made no difference.

- I have that dreaded app. if you're interested :-|
-
- In my humble opinion the QVT/Net version is much better and more stable,
- although you have to load the whole kaboodle and keep it in memory...
- I use version 3.97 for sockets on top of Trumpet sockets.
-
- Now if anyone knows of a WinSock Telnet app. better than QVT and with some
- Tek4010 emulation, THAT would be very good news - please post!
